Gmail Vacation Responder Setup Guide

Step1. Accessing Settings

Click the "Settings" icon located in the top right corner of the screen and select "See All Settings."

Step2. Locating Vacation Responder:

Scroll down the settings page until you find the section labeled "Vacation Responder.”

Vacation Responder:

The Vacation Responder feature sends an automated reply to incoming messages. If a contact sends you several messages, this automated reply will be sent at most once every 4 days.


Step3. Configuring Vacation Responder:

a. To enable the Vacation Responder, choose "Vacation Responder on." If you do not wish to use this feature, select "Vacation Responder off."

b. Specify the “First day” and “Last day” for when you want the Vacation Responder to be active.

c. Provide a relevant “Subject” for your automated response.

d. In the "Message" section, enter the content you wish to automatically reply with.

Step4. Saving Changes:

Once you have configured the Vacation Responder to your preferences, don't forget to click on "Save Changes" to apply the settings.
