How do I enroll?
Enrolling your device in Okta only takes a few steps. Visit https://sso.kean.edu to begin the enrollment process, we suggest using a device other than your mobile phone as you will need to download the Okta verify app and scan a QR code during this process. You'll be greeted with a sign-in page and will need to enter your Kean username (Kean Google Email ID) and password.

Step 1: Download the Mobile App
After you have logged in, you will be prompted to set up your mobile device as your second authentication factor powered by Okta Verify.
You'll need to download and install the Okta Verify app to complete the installation.
Okta Verify is compatible with iPhone, iPad (iOS 14+), and Android (Android 8.0+) platforms.
Please download Okat Verify through Apple Store for your iPhone.
Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to download Okat Verify for your Android iPhone.
Step 2: Log in to SSO
You will be presented with a QR code that you will need to scan in from your Okta Verify App.
Step 3 - Add Kean Account to Okta Verify
Open your Okta Verify app and go through the initial welcome screen, then select "Add Account".
Finally, scan the QR code
Step 4 - Giving Okta Access
If prompted, grant access to the Okta Verify app to use the camera
To ensure you receive notifications from the Okta Verify app select "Allow Notifications"
The Okta Verify App can only be linked to one device at a time
Step 5 - Security images
After you've enrolled your device you will need to choose a security image on the enrollment webpage you began the process from. Click the security image you'd like to use and then select "Create My Account". You have now successfully set up your Okta account!
